Dear Friends,

We are on the back end of the Lenten season and we all are weary. There are many things keeping our hearts and minds busy and anxious at this time. But this is the Lenten promise and practice. That we can turn our hearts and minds away from the freneticism of the world and move deeper into our love and devotion towards God in Christ and towards one another as God’s Beloveds.

May we all grumble and slouch and yearn to get closer to the lived experiences of Christ as we seek to cast off all that doesn’t help us follow our mission statement as a spiritual community.

May we walk in the path of Wisdom, like our spiritual forebears who dreamed and schemed and endured to get us to the here and now. May we find ways to embody Proverbs 3:13-18, as we discussed at the mid-week devotional this week.

“ Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding; for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her;  those who hold her fast will be blessed.”

May all our paths be peace.

In Love & Solidarity,

Minister Chelsea
