Dear Friends,

Happy New Year! I hope that you are all doing well and avoiding the illnesses that are

spreading everywhere. So far, my spouse and I are healthy, but some good friends and

their family are suffering from the flu. Stay safe!

I am not one who likes to make New Year’s Resolutions, however, I do recognize that I

like to think of this time as a time of reflection on the past and future.

In 2024, I did a 9-month Grief and End of Life Coaching class. As you can imagine, this

was pretty intense. It was also very helpful. Early in the class we were presented with a

list of “The 5 Things.” As in, the five things we should be saying to those we care about.

I thought I’d share that with you today. Not as a list of things we must do, but rather a

reminder that our relationships are so very important.

As you review this, which are easy for you to do? Which are hard? What memories do

they invoke? If you want to talk about anything, please feel free to contact me.

I look forward to seeing you all soon.

Peace in Christ,

Pastor Nancy
